Hannah Chalkley, SEEd Associate
Hannah has a keen appreciation for holistic approaches to understandings and problem solving in relation to environmental issues. She has an interdisciplinary academic background, with a Masters degree in Environmental Social Science. Hannah conducted a research dissertation, drawing on the plethora of recommendations within environmental education research to outline criteria for an 'ideal type' framework, and exploring the extent to which these criteria are met in the rhetoric of the National Curriculum as well as in practice in one case-study school.
Working at SEEd, firstly as an intern during the first half of 2010, has further encouraged Hannah's passion to be involved in the facilitation of quality sustainability and environmental education on a broad scale.
